Sweet summer thank you card

This is a simple thank you card using a lovely little stamp in the Sale - a - bration set Sweet Summer . I used co - ordinating buttons and ribbon in Marina mist and used Certainly Celery DSP and card to co-ordinate with the ink used in the image . I used the Word Window punch to add a little detail . The wording is from the Thank You Kindly stamp set .

Birthday Wishes

I have stuck with the Sunny garden DSP , as I thought it went well with the flower theme of my Mojo Monday card . I used the Boho Blossoms punch for the flowers and the bird punch for the leaves . The Birthday wishes is from Sincere Salutations .

Cottage Garden

This is my interpretation of this week's Mojo Monday . I decided to use the Cottage Garden stamp set with the Sunny Garden DSP .I enjoy doing a card challenge as it allows me to concentrate on colour rather than the arrangement .

Trendy Trees thankyou card

The designer paper dictated the colour scheme of this card . Unfortunately it is from a retired set - Sweet Pea ( Mini Catalogue summer 2009 ) but it is pretty !I love the Trendy tree stamp set because it is an excuse to bring out the Stamp a ma jig . I used bashful blue for my base card and layered using Old Olive . As I have said before the great thing about stampin up products are that everything co - ordinates . So the ink , card and paper all co - ordinate together and it makes card making easy !!

Gina and Joy's stampin up experience

I thought I would show a few photos of our stampin up experience event which we hosted in the Dunsilly Hotel on saturday 15th January . Over 50 ladies attended the event and a good time was had by all ! We even had our own technician - Edwin - he was responsible for the projecting of our demonstrations and sound . What would we have done without him !!!!It has taken me a while to recover ! and catch up on all the housework and ironing which I neglected on the run up to the event . Many thanks to you all for coming along and supporting us and to Edwin !!Congratulations to all the prize winners - I hope you are making good use of your prizes !!!

Sympathy card

Sorry I haven't posted for a few days but my son has been in hospital having his appendix removed .Thankfully he was not kept in hospital too long and got home at the weekend . Now mum is playing nurse !!! He thought it would be a good idea to bring the call button home for me but the look on my face told him may be not !!

I really look forward to seeing what Mojo Monday have got in store for us every week . This is this week's design , I unfortunately needed a sympathy card so I have used the Hopeful Thoughts stamp set for the wording and I thought the muted colours from the Designer paper - Elegant Soiree were appropiate .

Autumn Days easel card

I just love making easel cards !! This is a card that I made before christmas and I thought I would share it with you as I have already failed my New year's resolution (posting daily on my blog )!!So I am trying to keep it to every other day ! So far so good ! BUT I have been busy catching up on postponed birthday parties and workshops due to the bad weather before christmas . I used Chocolate chip for base colour and layered it with More mustard and Very vanilla which I am using more and more of .
