celebration windmills

Hello again ! Sorry it has been a while but I have been a busy girl ! Firstly I was away at a Stampin up convention in London which was absolutely fabulous ! Then last weekend I took a stand at the kings hall in Belfast at the Creative stitch and craft show . It was great fun and we met lots of lovely people who were very interested in our stampin up products . I will post a few photographs of our stand in another post , but I just wanted to let you know that I was still in the land of the living !!! Tonight I have taken a table at a local craft fair and I have another one next weekend so it is all go ! I think I am going to have to place another order as my supplies are depleting .

Jolly holiday crackers

These are the cutest things I have ever made ! I wanted to show how the card and the DSP co-ordinate. The DSP is Stampin Up's new Christmas range - Jolly Holiday . The colours are so rich , Cherry Cobbler , Old Olive and Very Vanilla . I layered the flowers up from Boho Blossoms Punch and finished off with a little brad . I hope you like them !

Autumn Harvest

This is my example for MOJO 160 I thought I would use the new stamp set Autumn Harvest , as it suits the season!I used the new punch - Scallop Trim Border which I love , and the DSP is from the Designer Series Paper Patterns Stack . Chocolate chip was used to frame the Pumpkin pie colour scheme.

Another Dasher

Good morning , it is a beautiful day today ! This is another card with the handsome dasher. The DSP is from the Simply Scrappin set - Christmas Jingles. I think this set is great value for money when you see what it consists of -6 sheets of double sided paper and 8 sheets of textured card stock . Not only that you get 6 sheets of self adhesive die cuts ! I am expecting a large box of new products to arrive tomorrow from Stampin Up , then it will be all systems go as I will be making 100 card swaps for convention , prepare for a stand at the Kings Hall and 2 christmas craft fairs!!!! But I have some great crafting friends who have offered their very much appreciated help and I know they are keen to get going!!!

Sparkly and Bright

I cased this little treat box from the very talented lady Jenny Moores(her blog is Stamping Moments). The chocolates were on special offer so I thought I would give it a go in a different colour scheme! I used the jumbo wheel "Sparkling" to decorate the plain red card. It really is quite easy to make! This is my first Christmas project.Stay posted for more.

Tri shutter card

I love making tri- shutter cards now that I have got the hang of them!Although I do tend to make them for those special birthdays.I made this one for my sister-in-law's 4oth birthday. The card is Rich Razzleberry and the DSP is Cottage Wall.I used the hostess stamp set Itty Bitty Buds as I thought it went really well with the paper.
At the moment I am doing a "spring clean" in my craft room.I really need to, just to make room for my new stock from the new catalogue which goes live on 1st October.

Recessed window Card

I thought I would have a go making a recessed window card as I wanted to make something special for my sister's birthday. It actually was not too hard to make but I was thankful that I had all the correct tools!I had some left over Certainly Celery DSP so that determined the colour scheme and I think Pretty in Pink compliments it.The stamps sets used were One of a Kind and Flight of a Butterfly.
Sorry I have not posted in a while but I have been away on holiday and it seems to have taken me ages to catch up!!!

Garden Whimsey

I made this birthday for a friend who loves tulips! Her favourite colour is duck egg blue but you don't get blue tulips so I went for "Pretty in Pink"!Again I have made an easel card but only because I have never made this type of card for my friend before, so I hope she will be impressed!!!I promise my next card will not be an easel card.We go on holiday on Tuesday and I have three birthday cards and a wedding card to make on top of all the packing and cleaning.I will be busy!!!!

Something sweet

I made this birthday card for my daughter's friend who is a real sweet addict! The stamp set "Something Sweet" was a perfect choice for the card.I choose the DSP from last years mini catalogue as it went well with the Skittle sweets.I warned my daughter to tell her friend that the card and sweets had to last at least a week!!!!The 1&3/4" punch fits really well with the "Sweet Treat Cups".

Greenhouse Garden

I made this card using a tutorial from the amazing Jenny Moores, which you can visit at Stampin Moments. It is a bookmark card using my favourite colours-Pretty in Pink and Almost Amethyst(which I will be sorry to see go as it is one of the retiring colours). It is the first time I have used this stamp set(Greenhouse Garden)and it is now officially my new favourite set!You can detach the bookmark as I have used the perforator tool in the Cutter Kit which you can find on page 90.The great thing about this card that even when you have detached the book mark you still have a cute little card!

True Friend

I really enjoy doing the challenge from Mojo Monday. This is the card I made this week using their sketch. The DSP is from the current mini catalogue .I actually made this card with a friend in mind whose birthday is later this month, her favourite colour is Taken with Teal(it really is not like me to be so organized). The stamp set is from Stampin Up and is called True Friend.I layered inside the card with white card and punched along the bottom usingthe Eyelet Border punch.

Bloomin with Beauty

This is one of those cards which is suitable for any occassion.I have used the Bloomin with Beauty stamp set from Stampin up. The colour scheme is again using Pale Plum. Although you cannot see it in the photograph I have "glazed" the pot using Crystal Effects, just to give it a little texture!

VINTAGE VOGUE

As this is my first post I thought I would use my favourite card of the moment - an Easel Card. I used Stampin' Up's new Vintage Vogue stamp set from the current Mini Catalogue. The colour scheme I have chosen is Perfect Plum layered with Pale Plum. I hope you like this as much as I do!
