25th wedding anniversary card

 

It was my sister's 25th wedding anniversary yesterday so I kept with the silver theme ! I think plain and simple cards are often the most attractive . My only concern was whether the glass button would make it to her intact - and it did !! The hearts are die cut from the "hearts a flutter " bundle , one in silver glimmer paper and one brushed silver card . The ribbon is white organza ribbon and I used some discontinued silver thread to keep in with the silver theme . I hope you like it ! I am making up an album of possible wedding card designs and this will definitely be going into it .

Lever Card

I thought I would give the Splitcoaststampers Tutorial a go this week - a Lever Card . There is a fair bit of measuring to do and precise cutting but I got there !! I think I may have to have a little practice before I teach it in a class !! The paper is from the International Bazaar collection and I used Tangerine Tango and Pacific Point card stock .

I thought I would share my "All Dressed Up " bundle from the new mini catalogue with my ladies that come to my class . I love the colours that are in the "Tea for Two " DSP - Calypso Coral and So Saffron . I also wanted to share with them this cute little Male card - hence the name of the class !!!

 

 

 

Colour Refresh

I have some 'refreshing news'! Today Stampin' Up! have announced that they will be refreshing the four colour famillies from 1st July when the new Annual catalogue is released.



Before you panic (which I did) only 10 colours will be leaving us and will be replaced with some new colours but also some of your favourite colours from past In Colour collections. Check out the comprehensive list below which includes all the new colours as well as the discontinued colours.



We will be keeping the colour family names Brights, Subtles, Regals and Neutrals but just refreshing the pallete and replacing the less popular colours with some favourites from past In Colour collections and some new ones too.
That makes me very excited as I had already begun to stock pile Pool party and Island Indigo cardstock etc.

All the new colours will be available from 1st July.
As from today, colours that will be leaving us will only be available WHILST STOCKS LAST so if you want to stock up on any of the following in the current colour ranges or discontinued colours you need to get in touch to place your order now.....

And a little something else to share, if you did not get your hands on the petite curly label punch during sale-a-bration it is now available to purchase and will go into the new Annual catalogue too so its a keeper!!

Bookmark card

My daughter's friend had wanted a bookmark from me so as it was her birthday I incorporated it into a card . I then used the idea at a workshop to show some new customers the cute little owl punch . I think this colour combination is my new favourite !!

The Christmas Planner

On Saturday afternoon I hosted my first solo event in Coleraine for 16 lovely ladies . We made a beautiful christmas organizer and a card using a dahlia fold . The "icing on the cake " (excuse the pun !) were the delicious cupcakes which Lara brought from her friend Veronica in Eglinton .At least these ladies have no excuse now not to be organized for Christmas !
I seem to be constantly chasing my tail at the moment ! Thankfully I have only 1 more craft fair on Thursday evening . And 2 more classes ! Then maybe I will get around to making some christmas cards !!
